A Greek Orthodox Ceremony by the Sea

Their Greek Orthodox ceremony unfolded with the sea stretching endlessly behind them. Faith, tradition and family stood together under the Athenian sky. The rituals felt timeless: the wedding crowns, the walk around the altar, the quiet intensity of the moment before the kiss. Sacred, grounding, real. I filmed it without rushing, so every ritual has room to breathe on screen.

A Celebration at Island Art and Taste

Vicky and Lenny celebrated at Island Art and Taste, the seaside venue where most of my Athens Riviera weddings take place. Planning and design were by NAIDO Weddings, with florals by Fleur du Jour Athens and music by DJ Argie, and my brother, George Liopetas, photographed the day. Vicky wore a gown from Eve of Milady with Badgley Mischka shoes.

From Roots to Rhythm

Then everything shifted. As the sun softened over the coast, the night turned into a celebration of pure Greek energy: traditional dances, hands linked in circles, laughter rising above the music. It was the kind of party where generations move as one, and where heritage isn’t something you explain. It’s something you feel.
