Award: First Place, Wedding Filmmaking, PWS Convention 2024In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Andrea and Matthew began their marriage with a celebration that felt both romantic and deeply personal. Family and friends crossed oceans from Australia to join them, and this Tuscany destination wedding film follows a day of vineyards, olive groves and a lot of love.
An Intimate Wedding at Antica Fattoria Paterno
Andrea and Matthew married at Antica Fattoria Paterno, surrounded by rolling vineyards and olive groves. Only their closest family and dearest friends were there, and that intimacy shaped the whole day. Guests swapped warm hugs and stories of their long journeys to be there, and the film catches that excitement before the ceremony begins. When the guest list is this close, every face in the crowd matters, and the film gives those reactions as much space as the couple.
A Ceremony Among Blooming Flowers
The couple exchanged heartfelt, sincere vows, and few eyes were dry, against a backdrop of blooming flowers and historic architecture, with florals by Luca Cozza Flowers & Special Events. Andrea wore a gown by Raffaele Ciuca with shoes by The Attico and fine jewelry by Gucci, and Matthew wore Peter Jackson. Planning was by The Marthy’s Vintage Garden, and my brother George photographed the day.
Long Tables and a Tuscan Sunset
After the ceremony, guests gathered at tables dressed with locally sourced flowers and soft linens for the food Tuscany is known for. Glasses clinked, toasts were raised, and laughter carried across the hills. As the sun set over the vineyards, the celebration continued into the night with music and dancing.
A Destination Wedding Filmmaker, in Greece and Beyond
Most of my films are made in Greece, but I also travel for couples who want the same cinematic, emotional storytelling elsewhere in Europe, and I’ve filmed weddings in Tuscany, England and Cyprus. Andrea and Matthew’s Tuscany wedding is proof that the story always comes first, wherever it’s told.
