Sam and Nikol’s wedding at Saint John Mykonos had two sides, and this film celebrates both. There were the quiet, emotional vows, and then there was the celebration that followed, full of energy and shared with the people they love. As a Mykonos wedding videographer, that contrast is exactly what I hope for, because it makes a film that feels like the whole day, not just the pretty parts.

Saint John Mykonos gave Sam and Nikol a setting that’s elegant without trying too hard. The film lingers on the beauty of the venue, the Aegean light and the details, then lets it fall into the background once the emotion takes over. Florals were by Studio 7 Flowers, and NAIDO Weddings planned the day.

From Emotional Vows to a High-Energy Party

The vows are the heart of this film. After that, the pace changes. With sound and lighting by Sound Mykonos, the celebration turned into the kind of high-energy night Mykonos is famous for, and I wanted the film to carry that shift, from tears to dancing, in a way that feels natural.

My brother George photographed the wedding while I filmed. For couples marrying in Mykonos from abroad, a film is often the one way guests who couldn’t make the trip get to feel the day, and the way you get to relive it once you’re back home. This trailer is a short, cinematic glimpse of Sam and Nikol’s day, made to be watched again and again, and shared with everyone who was part of it.
