Cristina and Leben brought two cultures to one coastline. Their wedding on the sun-kissed Athens Riviera was a joyful blend of Romanian and African traditions, and this Athens Riviera wedding film keeps all of that energy in one place: the music, the dancing, and two people who truly never stopped smiling.

A Multicultural Wedding on the Athens Riviera

From the very first day, the celebration carried the vibrant spirit of both families. Traditional Romanian music and dances flowed into the rhythmic beats and bright colors of African traditions, and the guests embraced every part of it. For couples bringing families together from different countries, this is what a destination wedding in Greece can be: two heritages sharing one dance floor, by the sea, with nobody left out.

Island Art and Taste on the Athens Riviera

Cristina and Leben celebrated at Island Art and Taste on the Athens Riviera. Planning was by NAIDO Weddings and the florals were by Fiorentino. The Riviera sits right on the coast outside Athens, so the sea is part of nearly every frame, and that backdrop gave the whole day a quiet magic underneath all the celebration. This film placed 2nd for Best Highlights Film at the Wevsy Greece Awards 2024.

Filming Two Worlds Coming Together

My brother George photographed the day while I filmed it. My goal with a wedding like this is simple: let the joy lead. Cristina and Leben’s happiness was infectious, and the film follows it from the traditions to the small moments in between, so that years from now both families, wherever they live, can relive the day exactly as it felt and share it with the people who couldn’t be there. In Cristina’s words: “He is not only talented and professional, but he made us feel so comfortable during the whole process which allowed such genuine moments to be captured.”
