Manhar and Vaishali’s Indian wedding in Athens was two days of color, music and tradition, spread across three remarkable venues: Island Art and Taste on the Athens Riviera, the historic Pyrgos Melissourgou and the elegant Pyrgos Petreza, both in Athens. This film captures the vibrant magic and cultural richness of a celebration that showed just how beautifully an Indian destination wedding in Greece can come together.

Day One: Games, Dance and a Party to Remember

The festivities began with laughter, as the couple played lighthearted, hilarious games that set a cheerful tone for everything to come. Soon the venue filled with traditional dances reminiscent of Bollywood, and that contagious energy built into an exhilarating party where everyone danced the night away.

Day Two: A Traditional Indian Ceremony at Pyrgos Melissourgou

The second day started at the charming Pyrgos Melissourgou with one of the most playful traditions of an Indian wedding: friends trying to steal the groom’s shoe, which sparked friendly competition and endless fun. Then came the heart of the celebration, the traditional Indian wedding ceremony, led by a priest who explained each sacred ritual to the guests. With family and friends dressed in vivid, colorful traditional outfits, every frame became a celebration of culture and heritage.

An Elegant Evening at Pyrgos Petreza

As evening fell, the celebration moved to Pyrgos Petreza and changed its look completely. Guests arrived in tuxedos and glamorous formal attire, and the couple made a dazzling entrance. Heartfelt speeches from Manhar, Vaishali, their families and close friends filled the room with emotion before an electrifying party closed out an extraordinary wedding.

Filming an Indian Wedding in Greece

A multi-day Indian wedding needs a filmmaker who understands its rhythm, from playful traditions to sacred rituals to the final party. Planning was by NAIDO Weddings and photography by Pahountis G.
