Constance and Adrien traveled from France to the island of Spetses for a wedding that was all about the sea. Their vows at the iconic lighthouse, a boat journey to the reception and a night of dancing under the stars made this one of the most romantic island weddings I’ve filmed. Vows at the Lighthouse in Spetses

Spetses is a short trip from Athens, and its Old Harbor has a charm that’s hard to describe and easy to film. Constance and Adrien exchanged heartfelt vows at the iconic lighthouse, with the harbor all around them. For couples flying in from abroad, Spetses offers something rare: a true Greek island feel without a long journey from Athens.

A Journey by Sea to the Reception

After the ceremony, guests traveled by sea to the waterfront reception. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the newlyweds arrived aboard a charming traditional boat for their grand entrance. Moments like this are why I love filming island weddings. The journey becomes part of the story, and the film can carry you from one shore to the next.

Dancing Under the Stars

The celebration ended the way every island wedding should: with an incredible night of dancing and joy beneath the stars. Planning and production were by Aether Events, design and styling by Loft White Styling, florals by Anastasia Thiveou and catering by Spitiko Catering. With a team like that, the couple could stop thinking about logistics and simply enjoy the night with the people who had traveled to celebrate with them.
