Why couples choose me for an Indian destination wedding in Greece
A multi-day Indian wedding needs a filmmaker who understands its rhythm, from playful traditions to sacred rituals to the final party. Manhar & Vaishali’s two-day wedding in Athens moved across three venues, and their film follows all of it: lighthearted games and Bollywood-style dancing, friends trying to steal the groom’s shoe, a traditional Indian ceremony led by a priest who explained each ritual to the guests, and an elegant black-tie evening with heartfelt speeches and a final party.
I don’t just record each event in order. I build a film around your story: who you are, the families who came together for you, and how each day felt. Every film is edited with music and titles and tailored to your celebration.
- Every day, one story. Tell me about every event you’re planning, and I’ll shape your coverage and film around the whole celebration.
- Your traditions, explained on screen. I stay close during the ceremony so the rituals, and the words around them, are part of your film.
- Drone footage, always included, flown where permitted, so your venues and the Greek landscape are part of the story.
- Film and photography as one team. Many couples also book my brother George Liopetas, a wedding photographer. If you’d like both, we offer a combined film and photography package on request.
Indian wedding venues in Athens I know well
Pyrgos Melissourgou
The historic Pyrgos Melissourgou hosted the second day of Manhar & Vaishali’s wedding, from the groom’s-shoe tradition to their traditional Indian ceremony.
Pyrgos Petreza
As evening fell, the celebration moved to the elegant Pyrgos Petreza for a glamorous black-tie finale. The same tower estate was also the setting for my burgundy and white editorial.
Island Art and Taste, Athens Riviera
Island Art and Taste on the Athens Riviera was one of the three venues of Manhar & Vaishali’s wedding, and it’s the Riviera venue where I film most often. See more films from there on my Athens Riviera wedding videographer page.
