Some destination weddings feel effortlessly timeless. Lauren and Anthony traveled from the USA to marry on Kasos, one of Greece’s most unspoiled islands: untouched, quiet and beautifully authentic. This Greek island wedding film follows their story from a pre-wedding escape by boat to a wedding day filled with golden light and honest moments.

A Pre-Wedding Escape by Boat

Before the wedding day, Lauren and Anthony escaped by boat to a nearby island for a carefree beach party. Those relaxed hours are some of my favorite moments to film. Nobody is watching the clock, the light is soft, and the people you love are simply having fun together. It gives the film a warm, easy opening before the emotion of the day itself.

A Seaside Chapel at Sunset

The ceremony took place at a small seaside church, just steps from the beach, with the sunset as a backdrop and the powerful waves of the sea echoing in the background. It’s the kind of setting that needs no decoration to feel cinematic. I kept the focus on Lauren and Anthony and let the island do the rest.

Golden Light and Honest Moments

The wedding day was emotional, filled with golden light and honest moments. Lauren and Anthony were photographed by Nicky Economou, with planning and coordination by The Event Co.. Drone footage is always included in my films, flown where permitted, and an island with a coastline as raw as Kasos is made for it.

Kasos offers raw landscapes, deep blues and a rare sense of calm, far from the crowds of the better-known islands. For US couples, and anyone marrying from abroad, who want an island wedding that feels truly their own, it’s a hidden gem, and this film is a reflection of that feeling.
